Itinerary

Destinations :- Delhi, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Pushkar, Jaipur, Agra, Gwalior, Khajuraho, Varanasi



Day 1 : Delhi


Arrive in Delhi, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Afternoon photography at Old Delhi's narrow streets, Flower Market, Spice Market etc.

Overnight at the Colonel’s Retreat (Standard A/C Room).



Day 2 : Delhi to Jaisalmer.


After breakfast transfer to the airport and flight to Jodhpur.
Flight to Jodhpur (the ‘Sun City’) around 10:25 hrs. Arrive Jodhpur at 11:45 hrs and drive to Jaisalmer (approx 05 hours).

Arrive Jaisalmer and check in at your hotel. The name Jaisalmer evokes utter magic and vibrancy of the desert. This place is straight out of an Arabian Nights fable.

The hostile terrain not withstanding the warmth and colour of people is simply overwhelming.Evening photography at the Jaisalmer Fort (the biggest living fort in India).

Overnight at the Golden Haveli (Standard A/C room).



Day 3 : Jaisalmer


Full day at Jaisalmer for photography of the various monuments.
Evening drive to the sand dunes at Sam and enjoy the sunset.

Overnight at the Golden Haveli (Standard A/C room).



Day 4 : Jodhpur.


After breakfast, drive to Rohet village (approx 05 hours).
Arrive in Rohet village and check in at Rohetgarh. Rohet is a village famous for their village safaris, which introduces its guests to local cultures and traditions.

Rest of the day is spent photographing various sights at Rohet village, seeing the local rural life of tribal people, the Shepherd Family, Potters Family and Bishnoi Community.

Overnight at the Rohetgarh Fort (Deluxe Room).



Day 5 : Pushkar


After breakfast drive to Pushkar (approx 05 - 06 hrs).
The charm of this sleepy, lakeside settlement so captivates tourists. Pushkar is most noticeably famous for their camels and their world famous camel fair held annually in October.
Arrive in Pushkar and check in at your hotel. Evening visit to Pushkar Lake and surrounding villages.

Overnight at Fort Pushkar (Deluxe room).



Day 6 : Jaipur


After breakfast drive to Jaipur, en-route visiting Kishangarh (to see the famous Rajasthani Paintings).
Arrive in Jaipur in the evening and check in at your hotel Jaipur is the gateway to the desert state of Rajasthan, with its stunning hilltop forts and glorious palaces illustrating a rich royal past.

Fabulously bright turbans blaze a trail through brilliant bargain-filled bazaars, and fluttering saris catch the eye.

Overnight at Vimal Heritage (Super Deluxe Room).


Day 7 : Jaipur


Full day at Jaipur (the Pink City), enjoy an Elephant Ride around the sandstone Amber Fort.
Photography at the Amber Fort, City Palace, Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal), Water Palace.

Overnight at Vimal Heritage (Super Deluxe Room).


Day 8 : Agra


After breakfast drive to Agra (Approx 05-06 hours). En-route visiting Abhaneri Step Well for photography - one of the biggest Step Wells in the world. This is a magnificent spectacle of architecture and makes for a challenging task for any photographer. Arrive in Agra, famed for the awe inspiring Taj Mahal and the beautiful Agra Fort. Taj visit if required.

Overnight in the Raj Mahal.


Day 9 : Agra to Gwalior.


After breakfast drive to Gwalior (Approx 03-04 hours).
Arrive in Gwalior and check in at your hotel. Gwalior is famed for its outstanding palaces, sacred temples and glorious monuments.Visit to the Jai Vilas Palace and Gwalior Fort for photography.

Overnight at Hotel Landmark (Standard Room).



Day 10 : Gwalior


After breakfast photography at the rest of the places at Gwalior.
Drive to Daita (Approx 02 hrs). En-route visiting small villages for photography. Arrive in Datia and photography at Datia Fort and local people of the area. Datia is a small rural town, which is surrounded by a stone wall, enclosing handsome palaces and gardens. Drive to Orchha (Approx 02 hours).

Arrive in Orchha and check in at your hotel. The stunningly superb Orchha is a historic town on the Betwa River in Central India which has the most magnificent chattris (cenotaphs). Orchha is a photographers dream! Evening visit to Raja Ram Temple during Aarti (daily worshipping ritual) for photography.

Overnight at the Amar Mahal (Deluxe Room).


Day 11 : Khajuraho.


After breakfast drive to Khajuraho (Approx 04-05 hours). En-route visit Maheba (a small village but with good monuments and natural beauty).

Arrive in Khajuraho and check in at your hotel. Khajuraho is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Central India. Khajuraho is a famous tourist and archaeological site known for its intricately sculptured ‘erotic’ temples. Of the 85 original temples-most constructed of hard river sandstone-about 20 are still reasonably well preserved.
Evening sound & Light show at the Khajuraho Temples.

Overnight at Narender’s Guest House (Standard Room).



Day 12 : Khajuraho.


Full day visit to the Eastern and Western Group of Temples for photography. If time permits, drive to Panna National Park (01 hour drive) for some wildlife photography. Early dinner at Panna Tiger Resort and back to Khajuraho.

Day 13 : Khajuraho to Varanasi.


Morning at leisure.
Transfer to the airport for a flight to Varanasi. Flight 12:25 hrs / 13:10 hrs. Arrive Varanasi at 13:10 hrs and check in at your hotel.
Varanasi is often described as the ‘oldest living city in the world!’ Few places in India are as colourful, charismatic or spiritual as the bathing ghats lining the Ganges in Varanasi. This magical but sometimes overwhelming city is where the most intimate rituals of life and death take place in public on the city’s ghats.

The accessibility to the practices of an ancient but still living religious tradition is what captivates many visitors, and a walk along the ghats or a boat ride on the River Ganges is one of India’s most absorbing experiences. Tour of Sarnath (Land of Buddha) for photography. Back to Varanasi and visit to the Ganges River.

Overnight at Hindustan International (Standard Room).


Day 14 : Varanasi to Delhi.


Have an early morning start and take a cycle rickshaw to the Ganges to catch the daily rituals of local people. After a boat ride on the Ganges to photograph the various rituals and activities, take a walking tour of the narrow streets of Old Varanasi (Kashi)before returning to the hotel for breakfast.

Following breakfast, take a guided tour of Varanasi. After the guided tour of Varanasi, transfer to the airport and board the flight for Delhi. Flight to Delhi at 17:10 hrs. Arrive in Delhi at 18:25 hrs.

Arrive Delhi and check in at your hotel near airport.

Overnight at the Hotel Lohmod (Executive Room).


Day 15 : Delhi.


Departure transfer to International airport to connect flight back home.

Tour Cost


Prices shown are per person, based on a travelling party of at least 2 adults. The single supplement price needs to be added to the twin/double price if single rooms are required.

  • Economy Airfare from Delhi to Jodhpur, Khajuraho to Varanasi, Varanasi to Delhi.
  • Please note that this is the current cost for all three flights and that these prices can vary and cannot be confirmed until the tour is confirmed.
  • An English speaking Indian escort can be provided for the entirety of the tour upon request.

The Indian Government have the right to revise any park entrance fees at any time and on such occasions, the prices quoted may be subject to change, as we do not have such a margin that will absorb these cost differences. This will also apply if the Government announces any increase in taxes or airfares

Cancellation Policy


All cancellations must be advised in writing by the lead guest on the booking. Our cancellation charges are based on the number of days before departure that we receive your written request. These charges are a percentage of your tour cost, excluding any non-refundable elements.
  • More than 56 days prior to departure - loss of deposit (amount as advised at the time of booking).
  • 56-43 days prior to departure - 25% of holiday cost*.
  • 42-29 days prior to departure - 50% of holiday cost*.
  • 28-15 days prior to departure 75% of holiday cost*.
  • Within 14 days of departure - 100% of holiday cost*.
